Very steep hill with hairpin bends leading up to property. Car hire is a must. Walking up the hill in 30 degree heat is no fun. No mention of this in ad. Room was very basic and overpriced for what it was. Pool was fantastic with lovely views. Food was very limited. Staff customer service skills non existent. Wouldn’t recommend Liberatos Village. Too far away from main resort with little to make you want to stay here other than the pool.

We loved our stay at the Liberatos. The pool area is amazing with extremely comfortable sun lounges. We had a sea view studio and it was well worth paying the bit extra for it. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked lovely Would definitely recommend booking these studios.

Awesome pool and pool Bar. Great cocktails a the bar. Was difficult to find if your driving at night. Rooms are super clean and big. Bathroom is small and tiny shower and sink but ok. Im not fussy on this kinda stuff. Being clean is most important and it was.

Overall nice relaxing place to stay , the rooms are very basic but was clean and the bed was comfy. The pool area is stunning but there is not much around you have to walk down a long steep hill just for a shop so if you want to be close to shops bars ect this wouldnt be a great place to stay especially if you dont like walking in the heat! The staff were friendly and food and drinks were nice but very limited and basic. I would stay here again as the view was amazing and felt very relaxed, i went without my children and i wouldnt come back with them it didnt feel to be very child friendly , no snacks , play pools , entertainment ect

We had an amazing time at Liberatos Village. The food was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite. The pool is just right, the atmosphere relaxing and overall an amazing stay. We rented two rooms, with sea views, they are simple but large and clean with balconies. The location is at the top of the hill, amazing views but a steep walk up. We opted to walk up and down the hill mostly, we also tried hiring scooters, which was fun. 10/10 would stay here again.

Typical basic Greek accommodation. Very clean and included air-con. Some of the accommodation is a bit of a walk away from the pool area and the complex is a bit of a slog up a long hill from the main strip in Lassi. We had car so not a problem and noticed quite a few people getting taxis up to it rathervthan walk. Pool area good with plenty of sunbeds available and not too busy, mainly families and couples. Only real downside was the pool bar prices; 7 euros a beer is 50-60% more than the all the tavernas and other poolside bars that we visited during our stay.

Family holiday with a number of adults and children 15 in total staying across 5 apartments. Pool excellent few minutes next door another apartment with good facilicites to utilise. More breakfast options and serving presecco at this bar would make more enjoyable. Staff are quite young and whilst friendly enough employing more family friendly staff members rather than younger staff who appear often more interested in their mobile phones or one another than customwr experince would be welcome enhancement.

I really liked this place, don't believe the negative reviews. Yes it's on a hill, therefore you get stunning views. If you are fit, it's no problem, especially at night it's an easy walk down to the restaurants on the main strip in Lassi. The pool area is stunning with very comfortable loungers. The water is a bit cold, but welcome on a hot day. The pool bar is very expensive compared to everywhere else. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Chickens would come to the balcony in the morning, the kids loved feeding them. The air con worked well. Three minor things wrong with the room, fridge handle broken, insect screen in our bedroom broken, no hand towel holder in the bathroom. None of this affected the enjoyment of our stay. We only payed £50 per night so weren't expecting much and were pleasantly surprised

LV offered us very basic, no-frills accommodation at a decent price. The landscaping and buildings were nice and the pool and bar were clean and well-operated. Our actual “apartment” was not nice. There was a twin bed in the kitchen (no headboard, no linens, no pillow). The bedroom had a full-size bed with linens and two pillows, but no blanket, just sheets. The shower and toilet worked fine, but there was no shampoo or any other amentities. No hair dryer. There was a small refrigerator and a toaster oven with a couple of burners attached. We had rented a car, so we could get into the little town (about a five minute drive) and there were several nice tavernas and bars, as well as a nice beach about ten minutes away. It was an adequate accommodation, but don’t expect charm.

Liberatos Village has so nearly got it right! Staff were fantastic, pool and area around it was amazing. The apartment itself was fine but a couple of tweaks would have made it really good. The bed was comfortable for us and the sheets spotlessly clean and regularly changed. Housekeeping every day. Shower was great, no issues with pressure or hot water. We were in I block so the furthest away from reception, there is a hill to climb to it but it is very manageable and soon felt like nothing ( we are 57 and 71 years old). The apartment felt tired , handles coming off when you opened the doors. Our biggest ‘gripe’ is that it is advertised as self catering but the equipment there made it very hard to self cater. Two tea, spoons and four of everything else. These were not clean when we arrived hence a three star for cleanliness. There was no equipment to wash up with - no cloth, washing up liquid etc- come on guys it doesn’t take much to provide those basics. The ‘sofa’ is a day bed, comfy enough to sit on but the cover is just a sheet so if someone was using it as a bed it would be very unpleasant for them. The balcony was a good size. A parasol would have been helpful as it was too hot to sit outside at times. All that being said the complex was quiet and felt safe. The pool area was great, clean, great bar area with reasonably priced tasty food. Not sure what’s in the advertised mini market as didn’t use it. Walk from road to complex took us only 10 minutes and no issues.

Great property and location.Our room was on the second floor offering great ocean views. 10 min walk to the Main Street with shops and restos. 15-20 min walk to Makri Gialo beach with crystal blue turquoise water and sandy beach. Fabulous pool with sunbeds and full bar for drinks and snacks. 10 min drive to the main city of Argostoli with greater choices. In all a wonderful stay in Kefalonia.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The rooms were filthy and clearly not well maintained. Every morning, we had to check the bathroom for spiders and even mice before using it, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The property itself is beautiful and has great potential, but the buildings and rooms are in desperate need of major renovations. Unfortunately, the staff was also unfriendly and unwelcoming, which only added to our negative experience. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made. Also it says steps away from the beach which is misleading it’s quite a trek down to the beach and uphill to return in the heat . We had to use our car every day for the beach

Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere. Do not let the photos fool you. While the hotel does have beautiful views, a great pool with plenty of seating, and decent bedroom storage, the experience was appalling. We found both a mouse and ants in our room. To be clear, this is a structural issue, not a housekeeping failure. The exterior doors do not seal properly, and uncapped cable tubes and utility pipes create an open highway for pests straight into the living space. Zero Service & Unreachable Staff: The service here is appalling. Front desk staff treated every basic request as a massive burden and acted openly rude. Worse, the desk is frequently unmanned during the day and completely abandoned from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. When we ran out of toilet paper, getting hold of a human being to obtain basic sanitary supplies felt practically impossible. Nickel-and-Dime Amenities & Poor Maintenance No Pool Towels: None are provided; we were forced to go out and buy our own. No Toiletries or Kitchen Soap: Come prepared with everything—including dish soap—because nothing is supplied. Outdated & Uncomfortable: The décor is stuck firmly in the 1990s. If you book a room for four, prepare yourself: the pullout couch is an ancient, paper-thin, uncomfortably hard mattress that offers zero support. A nice view and a nice pool cannot make up for severe security/pest gaps, absent management, and blatant disregard for paying guests.
