I would gave given a higher rating if there hadn't been a cigarette odor in my nonsmoking room. I called the front desk and was assured that the rooms around me were all non smoking so perhaps this is not enforced. The gym is ok but small and could be a bit better arranged. Breakfast was healthy and good”

“I have not been to many properties in Matheran, but I would say this is an ideal property for a fun vacation it is located over from the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like you’re in the quiet hills cottage. The property is old, but very well preserved and staff is very courteous and very helpful.
