The Kings Motel is a perfect stop enroute to Vancouver. I have stayed several times and find it to be quiet, clean and very affordable. I always travel solo with my dog and it is very safe. Many fast food restaurants close by. I highly recommend it.

Parking for large pick-up trucks was a challenge. The room was quiet with a comfortable bed. Perfect location for a quick stop to rest. Plenty of food options within convenient walking distance.

Nice filler spot when reservation at another hotel caved. Room was large, and well equipped. Pillows should be replaced. Shower did not drain so I was standing in ankle deep water. The shampoo in packets were a pain to open. Remote for AC was nice. Lots of food choices in the area.

The room was very clean, the bathroom was spotless, the air conditioner worked well, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We stopped here overnight on our way to the coast, and it was perfect for what we needed. The exterior of the building was well lit, lots of parking,and the building and parking lot were well-kept. Other reviews note people loitering around the building, we arrived at midnight, and saw no such thing. Very quiet and comfortable on a budget. We would stay here again.

The rooms are beyond dirty. The mattress smelled bad enough that we ended up putting our own bedding over the bed to sleep. The towels also smelled old and unclean, and the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The front desk staff were all very nice and friendly, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. That said, for $94 a night, you get what you get. If cleanliness is important to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Had a great stay at this motel! The room was very clean, comfortable, and the air conditioner worked perfectly. A special thank you to the night manager at the front desk, who provided exceptional service. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our room in the middle of the night, and he kindly woke up, made us a duplicate key, and helped us with a smile on his face. His professionalism and willingness to help made our stay even better. Highly recommend this place!

The parking felt safe, and the room was clean—good enough for me. I was looking for the most affordable room available in Kamloops, and this place didn’t disappoint. With cheaper rates, you usually expect something to be off or unpleasant, but that wasn’t the case here. Check-in was quick and easy, especially if you book ahead.
