“It was an amazing stay at hotel. Friendly staff!”

“My 4th stay at the Taj and as always a beautiful time. The staff are so warm and welcoming. Located in a great part of Colombo on the Indian Ocean. A very safe area. A big choice of restaurants within the hotel. Special thanks to all staff in Ports of Call restaurant. I will return. Thank you all.”

“Its a sound enough hotel for the business traveler but otherwise pretty ordinary. It's in a shabby part of town with no local ameities or attractions worth the bother. The bar is dismal and the restaurant poor. The staff do a good job of making the best of the little they have to wotk with.”

“Excelente hotel, hermoso en cada aspecto posible, la piscina en el piso 27 es fabulosa ”

“Muy buena estancia!”

“Delicious breakfast, location, views, and history incomparable , it really transports you back to the old times”

“Excellent modern property! A delight to stay here….excellent views of the ocean too. And walking distance to almost everything. The drop off/ pick up arrangements are weird with multiple levels of lobbies but that is the architect’s fault….not the hotel’s. We will definitely be back”

“I spent 4 nights in the hotel. The service was superb and the facilities are amazing.”

“The bathroom smells strongly of urine. It may look clean, but it smells like old urine, similar to bathrooms at a music festival. It was very unpleasant and uncomfortable to use the bathroom. The hotel is very different from the photos. The staff never answers phone calls, WhatsApp messages, or messages sent through booking platforms. The room is very dirty; the floor is covered in dust and dirt, and it’s clear they only mop without soap.”

“Precioso hotel decorado de manera exquisita, nuevo (es del 2024), la atención magnífica, la cena buffet genial, un hotelazo que merece la pena conocer. Es un lujazo acabar el viaje de Sri Lanka en ese hotel. Altisimamente recomendable. ”
