Hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly. A very good breakfast is free with your stay. There are several surrounding hotels in the process of being remodeled so there is quite a bit of noise during the day. There are several restaurants and grocery stores convenient.

We loved this hotel and we would 100% stay again. We had a nice clean room on the second floor with a side view from the balcony down to the sea. The room was spacious with good storage, plenty of hot water for the shower.The hotel is second line from the sea and there is a cut through to the sea front diagonally opposite the hotel. The staff were lovely, we had a pre-drink each evening at the hotel bar. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, great coffee.

The room was very umid. It was located in the basement. During my stay, the floor, the sheets, quilt cover, everything was constantly a little wet. But I liked the breakfast, a lot of options.

Das Hotel war grundsätzlich sauber und das Personal insgesamt sehr bemüht. Leider hatten wir bereits am ersten Tag (Samstag) ein erhebliches Problem: Unsere Zimmertür ließ sich nicht abschließen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass ein Techniker frühestens am Montag verfügbar sei – das ist für uns ein absolutes No-Go. Da das Hotel ausgebucht war, konnte uns zunächst kein Ersatz angeboten werden. Erst auf unsere Initiative hin versuchte die Rezeptionistin selbst, das digitale Türschloss zu reparieren. Durch mehrmaliges Klopfen und Zuschlagen funktionierte es schließlich notdürftig – kein gelungener Start. Auch das Frühstück konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Die Auswahl war sehr eingeschränkt und täglich gleich (Schinken, Salami, Käse). Frisches Gemüse wie Tomaten, Gurken oder Paprika fehlte völlig, während der Fokus eher auf süßen Speisen lag. Am zweiten Tag kam es zudem zu Unklarheiten beim Frühstück: Obwohl uns zunächst freie Platzwahl zugesagt wurde, wurden wir später in unfreundlichem Ton aufgefordert, künftig jeden Morgen nach einem Tisch zu fragen. Trotz Befolgung blieb die spürbare Unzufriedenheit des Personals bestehen.

I am sorry you had such an awful experience. Here is a scathing review based on your details: I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. Our stay was an absolute nightmare from the very first hour when we discovered blood on our bedsheets. We took a photo and showed it to the receptionist, Louisa, but the horror didn't stop there. The "double bed" we booked was actually just two uncomfortable single beds pushed together. To make matters worse, the bathroom sink was completely blocked and unusable. When we asked for a room change, we were told the hotel was fully booked. This was a blatant lie, as the place felt like a ghost hotel and we saw plenty of empty rooms after the first night. Even when they changed the sheets the next day, the "fresh" linens were covered in visible dust right out of the folds. The management is abysmal—Maximo was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. The only saving grace was Louisa the receptionist, who clearly tried to help but was constantly undermined by Maximo’s poor leadership. We spent as much time as possible outside the building just to avoid being there. On our final day, we fled at 8:00 am to find breakfast elsewhere just to end the stay sooner. This was a day of relief, not a holiday. Avoid this place at all costs.
