The rooms were so clean, beautiful environment. It was a good experience. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. The only downside was not having the AC on, we like the room cooler when we sleep. The fan was in the room but didnt do much.

We rented a separate cabin which was slightly off the main property. Excellent accommodations and continental breakfast. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Large living room/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed to prepare meals. The rooms in the “teepee” were small and simple. The center area of the “teepee” was very pleasant and comfortable. Many couches and places to sit for breakfast. The only downside was that there were no public bathrooms in the center of the “teepee” for occupants of the cabin.

The place is built around a central circular room, with all the bedroom doors opening off it. The breakfast is very good. The reception contains a lot of information on events and things to do nearby. The rooms are on a lower level than the main room. Windows cannot be open and the ventilation system is not present so they get quite humid and hot during the night affecting the sleep comfort (we stayed here in summer). Overall the vibe of the place is definitely something different and worth trying.

The concept of a teepee with rooms around the perimeter was unique. We can imagine that it serves as a cozy ski lodge in the winter with the large fireplace in the middle and the entertainment options in the common areas. The room had simple furnishings but they were adequate. The rooms had obviously been updated in the recent past given the overall age of the facility. The heated floors were a nice touch. The continental breakfast was above average and well-stocked. The location, about an hour outside of Jackson, was acceptable. The cost of accommodations in the Jackson Hole area are pricey so we were happy with the cost which we found to be reasonable. Alta, WY is just inside the Wyoming state line and is adjacent to the very nice suburb of Driggs, Idaho. We were very happy with our brief stay.

Everything was wonderful—the view, the river, the mountains, the quiet, the breakfast, and the atmosphere. Everything is specially designed so that those of us visiting the property feel right at home. Ms. Alma, in particular, is wonderful in the way she attends to each of us; thank you for the opportunity to share this place with my family.

Teton Tepee Lodge in Alta offers a cozy cabin‑style mountain stay with a great atmosphere and a peaceful creekside setting. The fully equipped kitchen — including an oven and stove — makes it especially convenient for family stays. The only drawback is the lack of AC. It’s common for the area, but with rising summer temperatures, having an optional AC would make a big difference. The provided fan helped, but only somewhat. Overall, a charming, well‑located lodge perfect for families looking for a true mountain experience.

What a great place to stay. We were in the log cabin. Although it dated from the late 1800 era, it had everything you need. Plenty of hot water, a modern bathroom, full kitchen, comfortable beds and an amazing location. Breakfast was ‘continental’ with a nice variety of items to choose from. The lodge was also very comfortable and cozy. It’s also very unique in its architecture.
