The staff is so good, extremely helpful, and my room was spotless each and every day. My stay at the Kybele Hotel made me feel that I was in Istanbul, and not at a hotel in Istanbul. The location, the decoration, the food, and the service they offered for airport pickup were SUPERB. I won't stay anywhere else but at Kybele if I ever go back to Istanbul.

Excellent place to stay at in a very quiet neighborhood and at the same time you're pretty close (walking distance to the main attractions in Sultanahmet. The Staff is always taking care of the guests. The whole block is colorful well lited area. Definitely next time I'm going to this place.

Small, modest room but full of character — very picturesque, in the classic Ottoman-house style of the neighborhood. The location is hard to beat: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern are all a few minutes' walk away. Friendly staff at both the front desk and the restaurant. Breakfast is simple — bread, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, milk — with few options, but everything you actually need; for me it was perfect, though if you expect a big continental buffet this isn't it. Water was always available. One thing to know: I couldn't find a safe in the room, so ask at the desk if you need one. Still, good value for the location

Solid choice, great staff

Quirky room and quirky hotel (in a good way, if that’s your thing!). Staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel location can’t be beat - it was close to everything we wanted to see. Breakfast was fine - met the need. The bed and pillows were better here than in other hotels we stayed at in Türkiye! I’d stay here again.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The hotel is adequate. The staff is nice and welcoming, the cleaning is fine. The bathroom facilities are very outdated and on the verge of not working. The bathroom door in our room couldn't close which was not ideal. The wifi did not reach our room, so if you are on it you have to sit in the lobby. The breakfast was very sparse and not worth the 10€ per person, per day. All in all the hotel is completely adequate, it needs some updates and repairs, but the stay was fine overall.
