This is a small but great hotel. Located at the heart of historic Istanbul, all the main landmarks and tourist attractions are within walking distance. The staff is great and very helpful. Many places to eat or have a drink in the neighborhood.

An absolute gem of a hotel. Perfectly located and within easy walking distance of all the sights. It is a slightly quieter area, which is perfect and there are loads of restaurants and shops nearby. The room (deluxe) was great with a lovely balcony and view of the Sea of Marmara. It was spacious and clean and with a comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was tasty too.

Great location and very friendly staff. The decor/room was a bit dated. Bathroom was not the most well maintained and had signs of mould. Bed was quite creaky and only had one pillow per guest. A lot of noise very early on in the morning outside the room - it looked like a lot of empty water bottles being loaded and unloaded at around 6.30am. The breakfast was very nice and good selection to choose from.

We had a really good stay at Recital Hotel. The location was super convenient for exploring Istanbul, especially since it’s right in the Sultanahmet area. We walked to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Sultanahmet Square, and the Grand Bazaar. There are also lots of restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, and small local shops nearby, so we rarely needed to go far for anything. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, and we enjoyed having it before heading out for the day. The rooftop terrace was also a nice bonus. After a long day of walking around Istanbul, it was a great place to sit for a bit and enjoy the view. We were very happy with our stay. Being able to walk to so many of the places we wanted to see made a big difference, and we would definitely stay at Recital Hotel again.

The staff were so helpful with whatever we needed whether it was directions or a scale for our luggage. The breakfast was varied and always good. We enjoyed both rooms but on our second stay really liked the partial sea view room with the outside deck.

What a lovely boutique hotel, in the heart of Old Sultanahmet. Absolutely fabulous location. A short walk to the Blue Mosque, amidst all the shops and restaurants, and down the road from the Grand Bazaar and super easy metro. The hotel rooms are large, with nice drapes, and wood finishes. The staff are over the top incredible. They are kind, happy, helpful, patient and treat you like family. If I was ever again in Istanbul I would 100% stay here. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were impressed with the staff, very friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the room and lobby. Comfortable beds, good breakfast selection and great location with lots of restaurants. It is no more than 10 minutes to many of the sites and the tram line T1 is 5 minutes away that takes you to the sites abit farther away as well as to the other side of the Golden Horn!! This hotel is great value for the money! We highly recommend!
