My booking for 5 nights and I only stayed in the property less than 24 hours. Next day I was Soo sick and Dr said I got infection. Whole my tour plan was cancelled and I was undergoing for the treatments still under recovering. I don't recommend the Expedia as their fake photos and review condition. The room was not hygiene, even the bedding was not changed, full sigarate smell, shower broken, Inwash basin taps not working properly, no hot water, shower is very dirty, the bedding was not even perperly laundry dried. Not ironed. The room was very hard to stay. The property recently taken mlby mlne management but they are still doing renovation. So whole the nice could not sleep . But the new management aas very good they wanted to refund my money but since I booked though the Expedia no option to cancel as they restricted to cancel. The front office staff was one Egyptian boy helped a lot even for me to transfer to the next hotel he supported. Anyway this perperty is not suitable for any Solo ladies. I don't recommend. Anyway it was my first and last booking through Expedia I will never use it again and also I don't recommend for anyone. The booking I have done with a n insurance as well. But when I try to claim there is no policy. Expedia is full scam deal. Be sure never use it. They charged 35euro each day I lost 4 days fully.

The hotel was good, they have receptionist 24 hours and every day makes the beds and clean bathroom (and towels). The only negative point was the hotel are in a elevated street and if you have injuries in legs or kness, maybe should search another option. For the rest, is perfect, great location and good service (with english).

This is our second time at Royal By Murat. So convenient at it is located 50 mt from The Galata Tower in a very quite street. Shop are around the corner. Easy to walk to the mosque and the main attractions in Istanbul. We are going back again. Staff is nice and helpful. Thank you

If you want to stay in a great location with limited budget, this place is great. It’s just a few steps away from the Galata tower and everything else such as shops and restaurants. The room is nice and clean. Suat, the front desk person, is very courteous, helped me with useful information and transportation. I recommend this place and I would go back.

Great place, even better peoplr

Good clean rooms, convenient location to Gallata tower, and transit to other tourist sites. Excellent value for money. Kind, friendly, and very helpful staff. We ended up having travel problems and the staff made a room available for us to stay longer at the last minute, as our travel plans kept changing. Thanks so much. 10/10

Great location and for the price it’s fine. Perfect for solo traveler or a couple that isn’t too picky. Room was clean enough but the balcony door was broken and the bathroom was so so on cleanliness. Staff was nice and helpful. Lots to do nearby.

Pictures are a lie as this property is running a scam, mattress was recovered from trash as it was covered in red stains and black ash (probably from smoking). Bathroom has awful smell. The rooftop brings in an immense amount of dust into the room which caused my skin to itch really badly. No elevator, 4 flights of stairs

Chambre peu entretenue. Coffre inexistant. La porte de la salle de bain tombe littéralement en morceaux et a été rafistolée au scotch et au mastic. Ce qui est le plus embêtant n'est pas que la porte soit dans cet état mais pourquoi (affaissement de plancher? ). Il y a un trou de 50 cm carré dans le plafond de la salle de bain au dessus de la douche par lequel la télévision et autre activité des voisins sont largement audibles. Le ménage n'est pas fait systématiquement et la propreté est contestable (draps et serviettes très certainement lavées mais tachées). La climatisation fait également énormément de bruit. Cela est bien dommage car le quartier est vraiment top et la quasi totalité du personnel est agréable et serviable. A ce prix je ne m'attendais pas à avoir un hôtel parfait, mais les photos sont trompeuses et plus d'actualité. Heureusement que la chambre n'a servi qu'à dormir. Les prix ont tellement augmenté dans Istanbul que pour ces tarifs ce n'est pas vraiment étonnant. Le wifi est très bon.

Galata kulesine 3 dakika ve Şişhane metro istasyonu na 5 dakika mesafede güzel bir otel. Odalar temiz sadece biraz rutubet var umarım çözüm bulurlar. Resepsiyon daki Muhammed beye ve odayı güzelce temizleyip teslim eden hanımefendi ye çok teşekkür ederim. Bir sonraki seyahatimde yine tercih edebilirim.

Está en una zona céntrica, sin embargo hay detalles como falta de limpieza, ruido de otras habitaciones, olor a cigarro en la habitación, mobiliario roto, etc... aunque la decoración es linda no es agradable estar en un sitio asi.
