“Honestly, everyone coming to Ireland should stay here. It’s a beautiful property tucked away on Valentia island, and really close to Portmagee if you’re heading to the Skelligs. The restaurant is great, and the staff are so nice. It was the highlight of our trip.”

“Visited with friends and had a good stay. The rooms and restaurant were of a high standard. Check in was via App although as I was remote from networks at times it was a bit complex. In room breakfast was good but I would have preferred a cooked Irish. The Restaurant could not take credit cards on the night due to equipment failure so had to pay the next day. Businesses should have back up options available .... spent half an hour standing around while a workaround approach was agreed.”

“Book the stay, called to arrange a taxi to the hotel. Told the lady we were arrive late because of flight cancellation and she said to call 3 taxi services the day of travel. No taxis are working at 8:30 pm on the coast. So there was no way to make it to the hotel and we couldn’t get a refund. Disappointing and frustrating. The lady should have informed us of the area and how taxi’s don’t run late, I could have cancelled and gotten my money back earlier. Paid for a stay I could never arrive at.”

“We (2 couples) stayed at Emlagh House for 3 nights. It was our favourite accommodation in a 3 week trip around Ireland. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to town. The rooms were very spacious with lovely views, and had air conditioning - rare for Ireland but as Australians a must when the weather is warmer and humid. Beds were king size and super comfortable. Breakfast was delightful and the common areas, especially the conservatory, were a great spot for a pre or post dinner drink and...
