This review cannot express enough my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property. Despite its tremendous potential the facility have, the location and the beautiful pool were not enough, I encountered numerous issues including unhelpful staff, two power outages that left me without AC for hours in the middle of the night and a lack of professionalism across the board. The dining experience was frustrating, as I was denied breakfast service just literally one minute one single minute after their posted time and yes i even offered to pay! Additionally, the cleanliness of the room was subpar, with dust everywhere. I booked for three nights but had to leave after two due to these reasons. I hope you can address these serious concerns for future guests.

Located directly at an entrance spot to snorkel the reef from the beach . And the reef provides excellent snorkeling opportunity. The room is clean and functional, staff and service are very nice. Breakfast and restaurant provide decent good quality food. Breakfast available at 7 oclock .

Great view above & below the water

We stayed at Coral View so we could do a lot of snorkeling and we did. The staff was very helpful and the food was good. We would stay there again.

Room was basic, ac worked good, floor bowed in certain arras when walking on it. Food was good. Bartender didnt make very good drinks. Pool was nvery big and very cold. Its a bit out of the way from the center of town. Will need to take a tuk tuk to get there with your bags

We enjoyed the pool area and bar. We could snorkel and swim from the dock, it’s easy to just enjoy the whole day there. You can order food and drinks The stay included breakfast which was made fresh to order. The rooms were simple ( we had 2 double beds), but beds are a small double and very uncomfortable. You can feel the springs in your back and the middle has no support. I wouldn’t stay here again but would go and spend the day at the pool and enjoy the beach bar.

Utilla in May

Had to make a couple of day trips to Utilla from the mainland and stayed at Coral View both times. Restaurant and staff are great and the sea side bar is wonderful. Katarina is a great bar tender! Eddie the tuk tuk driver is a bonus too!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time at Coral View, food and drinks were great, the room was very clean. All employees were very helpful. Had a great experience at the dive shop and would love to come back. The sand fleas or no see 'ums were pretty bad but the staff helped us.

This was a great property , and this is our second time visiting. It was clean and nice and the staff was amazing.The food was incredible and the price was ridiculously inexpensive for what we received. Everyday, we are snorkeling right outside the bar. And it is some of the most amazing snorkeling in the world. It's like you are swimming in an aquarium.

DIve Staff Top Notch

Basic Hotel, at waters edge with Bar and largte deck oveer water. Staff friendly. Basic rooms, but clean with hot water ( Not always a given on island loations ) Dive Center Manager ( Jorge ) top notch, attentive and helpful above and below the water. 1 mile from center of small village, used Tuk Tuk to go everywhere for $2 per trip, much cheaper than renting a scooter for $35 per day. Best restaurant is Mango Tango, easily, with quite tasty gourmet food.

the hotel was a decent stay. service was great. I dont think the rooms have tvs, but i thought that was ok too since we did a lot of exploring. Room cleaning service was on point. I met the owner personally the next day as he lives on the property. The restaurant has decent food mostly typical food. Overall the stay was definitely worth for its price. Enjoyed Utila very much, a gem of an island inits own. Hands down Utila!

The bartenders and wait staff were very nice. There is lots of property but much unused. LOTS of construction and noise. Couldn't nap after time snorkeling and beach time. They were drilling in the room next to me. Banging tables on the floor in the foyer to set up the meeting room. Very loud. Lots of potential to be a better place. Likely won't go again u fortunately. The location is great. Shame.

The restaurant that was out on the oceanfront had good food and service. The only complaint was issues with payment. We booked through Expedia with the option to pay at location. They wabted to charge more. But they did cancel the reservation eventually and then we rebooked through Expedia and paid on the Expedia website for that price. Also note when comparing prices with other places to stay, they charge 36.00 a day for the 2nd traveler, where other properties the cost listed is for 2 travelers per room. So may seem cheaper than another place, but once add the 36.00 for the 2nd person in the room it's more expensive. So compare the total costs, don't just look at the price quoted as total cost on Expedia, because they are adding that additional fee.

We knew this would not be a 5 star resort, the pictures that other travelers have posted are accurate. Everyone who worked there were extremely friendly and helpful, they cared about the service they provided. The hotel owners should think about updating the rooms one by one over time as the bathroom needed tons of help, from the leaking shower to missing tiles. The beds and pillows were not supportive and I actually felt like I was sleeping on a water bed. The pool was operational as was the bar. There was one set of steps into the water that was damaged and not usable. The benefit of the location is that the resort doesn't have a lot of traffic as it is at the end of the road.

Nice hotel with a great staff

Management and staff were absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and attentive. Any requests I had were met with positive results and smiling faces. The facilities were very nice, in the location. Very peaceful. One night there was a bit of a power outage due to a storm on the island. The staff reacted immediately, and was moments, the on-site generator was working and all returned to normal. The resort is a mile or so outside of the center of town. It’s actually a very nice walk. If you choose to take a tuktuk it is only about two dollars and the staff can call for one. never had a wait more than two or three minutes. I did one day of diving at the resort and once again, the staff of the dive shop were extremely helpful. The water was a bit rough so visibility wasn’t quite perfect but the divemaster and captain still found some good sites.

This place is really special! My wife and I have been to many dive resorts over decades of travel. The Coral View ranks very highly in our list of faves, primarily because of its no-hassle convenience of everything and their really nice and accommodating staff. These features make it among the best values and most relaxing we have ever experienced. The dive shop is out back on the bay, they have a really good restaurant on site, the bar is out over the water (with fantastic views), and you walk down a few steps off the bar and you’re snorkeling on a stellar reef. They have a huge, clean built-in pool adjacent to the bar and comfortable, although a bit limited, seating and sunning furniture. You’re far away from the total craziness of the Utila Town yet it’s easy to get there. We walked to town in about 20 minutes, but we recommend renting a scooter for convenience. Our room was comfortable, very clean and gave us more than enough space. The bed was fairly new and comfortable. A/C was very good, and quiet. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. My wife needed a blow dryer, and they had one there the same day. We didn’t see one insect in the room during our entire week there. The water pressure often had problems delivering up to our fourth-floor room, but other guests told us it wasn’t too bad elsewhere. If we gave it some time, it did deliver ample hot water. Hey, it’s on a tiny island! The dive shop is one of the most professional I’ve ever worked with in 4 decades
