“Lovely Manager who helped us to check in slightly earlier than normal which was very much appreciated. The villa had every kitchen item we needed for self-cooking while staying. There is also a washing machine in the Villa and a place to hang laundry in the little private courtyard. Great location in Kingscote opposite the jetty.”

“This was the first time we traveled to Australia and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Ecopia Retreat in the Residence property! “The property’s rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful. However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine. We were disappointed there were no coat hangers to hang our clothes. It would be advisable to take some insect...

“The whole unit was kept clean and everything needed for kitchen use is available- from whipping up dishes to baking muffins. Quality paper towels and toilet rolls are provided! To find a garden hose to wash our car at the end of our trip was a pleasant surprise. Hot water is limited to a tank a day. We did experience a short supply on our second night and 2/5 family members couldn’t shower with the cold water on a cold day. The hot water came back the next morning. The view of the sea is...
