Great location, decent price, first floor does not mean ground level. There is a substantial staircase, but doable. The best shower we’ve had our whole vacation. Water pressure and temperature was outstanding. Could use better pillows, but acceptable.
We stayed in room 6. While the check-in process was pretty straightforward because it was all self-service, the room is very small. It was definitely clean, however we assumed that a four day stay would afford us some sort of cleaning or at least replacement of toilet paper and towels. However, we ran out of toilet paper after the second day of our stay. We messaged the staff a couple times to ask for a replacement, but we got no replies. We asked a neighbor if we could use some of theirs, but they said they were also out. We also ran into another person staying at the hotel who said he had reached out to the staff several times without a broken window and heard nothing. Location was convenient, but there were no amenities whatsoever. No kettle, no coffee, no tea, the television didn't work, and there was no soap in the shower.
Very convenient little rooms right downtown. Very pratical ! Clean and comfortable room in the middle of the city. Very easy to find and access.

It's quite basic accomodation. OK if you're not used to space and luxury. Beds and shower are alright.
We had some trouble with the number key to the main entrance. Staff is friendly.
Stayed here for one night with friends while travelling home to Lanarkshire from Durness. Arrived about 9pm and left at 5am. Perfect for this. Great location , easily get on and off the A9. Had a good sleep. Shower was ideal. Ticked all the boxes. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again .

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Very bare bones accommodation. There was no toiletries provided. Area was quiet and room was plenty big for multiple people to stay together. Disappointed with 10am check out time. Lots of good dining options around
No staff, self check-in which was easy. Clean room, no frills, great price for the location. Mostly younger guests who were a bit noisy ( Saturday night) but settled down by midnight. This was a very nice guest house stay in an easy location, parking a few blocks away in a multilevel car park. Maybe have some cups in the room, even paper cups would be a good addition . I would stay here again.

Overall, a good room for one night in a very central location. It was very clean and tidy, apart from one area. The blinds were very dusty when I went to close them. Not a big deal to myself, but other guests might be unhappy with this.
This is an extraordinary operation. No desk, no staff, no amenities, just a nice clean room with comfortable beds and a clean, functioning bathroom. Luxury it is not, but very comfortable, especially for us who do nothing but sleep and wash in our rooms. The location is superb, close to station, good restaurants, shops, etc., and the price is very reasonable. We would certainly stay there again and recommend to friends who are not looking for luxury.

Great spot conveniently located. Clean and comfortable…Management was unreachable so I was unable to change my room which I had for two weeks. I ended up burning incense to deal with the mildew odor in the bathroom.

Bed was comfortable. Bath and face towels for all guests. Smart tv was a bonus with free wifi. Could do with hand towel holder and toilet roll holder in toilet / shower room. Only 1 socket which I could see available. Flexible checkout would also be good (currently at 10am) would be great if you could extend time until 12pm for late checkout. Self check in and out was great. Next door room to us was noisy (shouting n swearing in the night and morning) so a sign to respect other guest would also be good. Some information abouts what’s around would also be good. But overall was a nice stay and would stay here again and also recommend.
Small compact single room, with clean ensuite facilites. Bedding and towels provided. The room was heated by a small effective electric heater. Wall tv, but mainstream tv only accessible through apps. Kettle and basic drinks facilites supplied. Access was by gravel pathway and room acessed by key safe box. Contact with owner was by emails, who provided adequate information. Short walk to city centre. An emergency contact number could have been provided for out of hours and more secure internal door locks. Was not disturbed by adjoining rooms.
Very nice updated room however, there are 33 stairs up to the rooms so if you have a large suitcase or are unfit you might want to choose a different location
Self check-in facility that was far from secure or well maintained. The main door lock was missing on the inside, the stairs carpet had suspicious stains at the bottom of the stairs. The heater was not working and nothing was done to rectify the situation so I had to sleep wearing a sweater & a scarf and there was no hot water other than in the shower, no kettle nor glass & cup for tea/coffee. There was a load of mold all around the window that caused me a lot of disagreement amongst which is a bloody nose and itching skin and, because the fan in the bathroom was not working, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and there is no heater in this room either.
In short, the place where I stayed was a dump and would not recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy, if I had one. The best part was leaving this place and, maybe because of this dump, I found Inverness to be lacking on cleanliness.
Perfect place to crash. Clean & in a great location

Steep stair walk up. Clear instructions provided by the contact, noone on site. Blinds in the room were broken could not close them. Bed and bathroom only, close to the train station.
