“This hotel is awesome! We received a free upgrade to a 1-bedroom apartment which was so lovely and such a nice surprise! The Emberz bar was great with delicious well-priced food. Our son loved the pool and sauna. We will definitely be back, thanks so much Ascot Hotel!”

“Breakfast was excellent, scrambled eggs cooked to perfection not rubbery, hash browns crispy, bacon not over cooked, bake beans, mushrooms tasty. All this plus continental breakfast and juice, coffee and tea. Staff really friendly and customer focused. Our plane couldn't land in Invercargill so we returned to Auckland and could rebook another flight until two days later.
