Vacations Close To Tahoe Institute for Natural Science

I liked the atrium pool. It was way too hot to be outdoors. There are not enough restaurants. The main cafe had decent food however they were very understaffed! We were there during hot august nights, and there was a line of people trying to get into the restaurant each morning and afternoon/ eve with only one waitstaff available at times. We did have excellent service one evening at the chop house. I had stayed at this property a few times when it was john augusta's and it was much nicer! The drains in the bathtubs did not drain well. The shower control knob was broken.The room was clean enough, but definitely far from immaculate. It is in dire need of a makeover. The guy who was working valet early in the morning of August 10th was by far the friendliest and most helpful during our 4- day stay.

Need improvement on Handicap Areas. For people who can not walk that far to some areas, if drop off areas to every door were more accessible especially were elevators are located. Coming thru the front only to have to walk to the side back of casino is quite far for most handicap people who are still able to walk a little bit.
