“We booked dinner for 5.30pm as we attending a show at 6.30pm. The night before we were contacted to dsy we couldn’t eat them as they had a wedding. We ending up buying food and eating in our pretty small room. When we arrived back from our show at 9.45, we were told the bar was closed so we couldn’t get a drink. Disgusted and very unhelpful”

“The lodge was very clean, well kept, and modern. Had all the facilities you would need for a short stay. Although it was just off a main road, there was plenty private parking just outside the lodge and the road was barely noticeable. The farm shop located across the grounds was lovely, and well worth a browse. The cafe in the farm shop was excellent, best breakfast I’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant, helpful, and professional. ”

“I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. “Situado en un entorno rural con la planta baja (zonas de restaurante y de bar con chimenea) bonita, la habitación doble ("Honeybarrel") con baño no llegó a cumplir nuestras expectativas ni el nivel alto que el establecimiento tiene como objetivo. Ambos eran sobre todo muy pequeños y carecían de armarios (teníamos que dejar el equipaje en el pasillo detrás de la puerta de la habitación y una maleta en el coche). La escalera a la primera planta incómoda. El personal amable.”

“We loved being out in the beautiful countryside in this sweet croft cottage. Our host was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided gave us lots of choices and was very generous each day. We had a spacious sitting room and bathroom as well. Thank you so much Eileen!”
