Made very welcome in the downstairs barn suite and had three comfortable nights' sleep. Enjoyed breakfasts and being able to come and go as we pleased. For someone getting on a bit (with a hip replacement) I did find the toilet rather low and the comfortable easy rocking chairs a challenge to get out of! However the positives well outweighed any such challenges.

The room and the entire property are very clean. The breakfasts were awesome. The view is amazing. The location is good for visiting all of Nova Scotia on day trips. The hosts are extremely gracious and add the little extra touches that make everything special.

Chris and Joanna are the owners of the property. They are really nice people. The location of the inn is right by the water. You can see the boats from your room. It’s so quiet. It’s relaxing to walk on the property. The building is kind of old but in good condition.

Highly recommend

Highly recommend this charming place near Mahone Bay. We stayed three days and enjoyed it so much. It was more like staying with family. Extra towels were easily accessible. There was a cloth for cleaning up spills. It just felt very homey. The breakfasts were delicious and the couple that own it were friendly and helpful with any questions about the area. Stay here if in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were excellent and the view was great. We also enjoyed the town of Mahome Bay a lot. We were unfortunate to get a couple of particularly warm nights though, when A/C would have been welcome, and our room was pretty small, but we’d go back in a heartbeat.
