Hotel is a short walk via the coastal path from the ferry/old town. Staff & pool area were lovely, great for families. There's also a kids' club which we didn't know about before arrival, a plus point for the parents. Breakfast is amazing with the variety offered.

Our stay at the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort was worth every penny. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The views from the hotel, even just the check-in counter, were breathtaking. The breakfast was absolutely worth it; every type of food you can think of, beautiful presentation. We enjoyed using the pool as well.

The room and entire hotel was very clean. Great location with convenient walking path right into town. Delicious breakfast included. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Pool was awesome especially the swim up bar. The only reason for the “good” review and not excellent is because our room location was very difficult to navigate to. We had to go up an elevator, down the stairs to another tiny elevator and then down another flight of stairs! It was bizarre and kind of frustrating after a day of walking in the heat. Other than that, our trip was excellent and we were very sad to leave.

The Superior Sea View room we booked had a very limited sea view. I think it would have been more accurate to offer this room as “Partial Sea View”. Trying to resolve the issue was also unfortunately a very unsatisfying experience. Other than that, the large majority of the hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent, and the location is probably one of the best in this part of Hvar. Tip: Don’t follow Google Maps directions when walking to the hotel. Take the waterfront path around the pier instead. It’s a much easier walk.

I stayed at the hotel with my husband to attend a wedding in the beach club. The view from the hotel is stunning, and is very close to the harbour, around 10 minute walk. Hvar is beautiful, the people are lovely and there are plenty of restaurants in the square. The hotel room was very clean, and lots of choice for breakfast. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The 3 hour ferry from Dubrovnik was worth it.
