“The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were top class. The area was superb and only a short stroll to the 'Heartbeat' tv setting. Everything about the hotel was excellent, with the exception of the restaurant. We used the restaurant on the Sunday evening and ordered the sirloin steak meal for myself and my wife. “I arrived on a Sunday and had sent a message several days before to say that I would like an evening meal. I went to the dining area at 8pm only to be told that the kitchen had closed for the evening so I was unable to get anything to eat that evening although I was offered crisps. On arrival I was told that the bar would be open until late so I assumed that I would be able to get a bar meal up until about 10pm.
