“End July 2026. Didn't use Spa or Amenities. Pros: Overall a good stay. Restaurant/bar food medium priced, bar drinks well priced. Premium room had whirlpool bath, very nice, Good pillows & mattress. Cons: TV in room quite old, needs time updated to BST, unable to use EPG as mainly not available. New TV would be better. Knives in restaurant & bar couldn't cut butter, need replacing. Bath surround needs mildew treating.”

“This was my first solo trip on my birthday, and the staff were very helpful and kind, and the room was wonderfully cosy. I would highly recommend anyone going, and I will be returning again soon. The hotel is literally in the heart of Bakewell and close to Chatsworth House. Parking: I would recommend going to the bridge car park nearby, as it has overnight parking and reasonable priced.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints”

“A lovely stay in a beautiful hotel with an excellent spa. The facilities in the spa are first rate and the opening times mean you can make the most of this during your stay. I also liked the fact you could get ready in your room and had the rooms and flip flops there ready for you. Our room was beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. Only downside was breakfast. It was okay but some items were missed off out cooked breakfast and the quality didn’t match the setting. The hotel bar is beautiful and...

“Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.”
