Vacations Close To Huguenot Park

The property was untidy, the room had a sour smell to it and the garbage bins were always overflowing. The staff was great but had no breakfast

This place was fantastic to stay at. We had a two bedroom cottage, the facilities were fantastic. All bedrooms ensuite, TVs in every room. Full kitchen and living room. Hot tub. Great pool nearby and sunset walk is five minutes walk away. They had live music in most nights and there is a lot of different food and drink places there.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, quiet area, & reasonable rates. This is our 4th stay & we will be back.

Room was not the cleanest. The curtains were stained and dirty. The doors to the porch were extremely hard to open. The bathroom is awkwardly set up with no countertop space. The shower handle came off in my hand. The desk chair was so rickety we were afraid to use it. The hotel cost itself is fine but I would not call it a resort. The resort fees came with useless benefits.

They have everything you need. Great place!

This is our second time staying here and we really had a nice time. The two things that were most troublesome was check-in and check-out times. Check in time is 4 pm. I think that’s a little late. We arrived between 9 am and 10 am and had to wait until 330to get a room. Check out is 10 am. I did ask for a late check out and the latest they would let us check out was 11:30 am. My other gripe is that they are cashless. They have a Starbuck’s on site, cashless , but they charge you a fee for using your card. I found that to be quite maddening. The whole resort is cashless. There are a lot of families with little kids so if you don’t mind having kids do cannonballs next to you while you’re lazying down the lazy river or trying to relax in the hot tub, you’re good to go. This resort also does not offer a shuttle to any of the parks or the airport. It’s an easy drive to Disney and Disney Springs. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Universal. The ice cream stand has a delicious brownie sundae that you have to try! It’s a nice resort and if we were to ever go back to Florida, and now knowing the things I didn’t know before, I would go back anyway.

The inside of the room was good but the maintenance of the building was not good. The need to paint the unit doors coming in from inside and power wash the buildings and paint them. Some landscaping was uncared for.
