The hotel is definitely an older property and doesn’t have the most modern or tech-forward aesthetic, but it is very well kept, clean, and comfortable. What really stood out was the courteous and helpful staff, from the front desk to housekeeping. We had a great stay and especially loved the convenience of being just a 5-minute walk from the Houston Texans game. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay again! Staff, air conditioning and parking were great.

Older Hotel. Was OK for one night stay. Very little hot water when I took a shower. Continental breakfast was substandard. Good location if you’re going to the Texans game at reliance Stadium.

The property was a bit run down, didn’t really get to use the amenities due to it. How ever it was walking distance to the stadium, so for me that was a plus!

To cut to the chase: The room was clean enough. Beds were whatever. It was cheap so I wasn’t expecting anything marvelous. There was no hot water so we took cold showers. And the toilets didn’t flush well. Luckily we got there late and left early in the AM. Parking was free when we went and actually there was like no one there, I’m convinced we were like some of the only people staying there lol. We got it cause it was close to NRG and we were heading that way for an event. I will say, the images they have posted are for the WYNDHAM, and NOT the WINGATE by Wyndham. You can still go to that lobby if you want I guess but don’t think you’re going into that big lobby.

First time at Wingate. Usually stay next door at sister hotel Wyndham. Liked the location better because it was shorter walk to stadium and less crowded. The rooms are nearly identical. Will probably stay here more.

It was close to stadium which was helpful. Room was clean. Didn't have anything but bath towels in bathroom. No soap, hand towels or wash cloths. Breakfast literally had eggs and sausage. Had to ask for coffee. Our room never got cool. But our 2nd room was cool.

The bed, the air conditioning, and proximity to the stadium were probably the only outstanding things about this hotel. It had a microwave and mini fridge which are convenient when traveling with kids but honestly the cleanliness was poor and did not even see cleaning staff at all in the hallways. If you pay attention to details you realize it’s poor maintenance. They should definitely invest a bit more on that.

Hotel is old so not in the best condition but was clean and comfortable as it could be due to it’s age. Biggest issue was the breakfast, went down at 8 on a weekday and there was only eggs and coffee.

Fantastic location next to NRG stadium. Very pleasant staff. Mattresses in good shape and room clean. But it stops there - for a one nite stay for an event, go for it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was average. Everything worked well in the room. All carpets need to be replaced. Great job by Carmen, Michelle and Izchat (probably spelled his name wrong). The Night Auditor from Persia. All worked hard to ensure guest satisfaction! Overall, a pleasant and memorable stay!

Room was very clean and neat, would have liked more towels. We only had two in the room for 4 adults. Breakfast was good. I paid for early check in but was told it was not available. Overall I gave it a 4 out of 5.

The rooms were clean but they didn’t have a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a microwave in the rooms. We had leftovers but couldn’t take them because we couldn’t keep them cool or heat them up. The staff was wonderful though!! Hi praise there!! The AC during the heat of the day struggled to keep the room cool but by 10 pm it was cool enough to sleep comfortably.
