I stayed at The Westin because I had a work trip in downtown Houston. If you’re looking for something nearby the convention center, that’s quiet and has some good restaurants nearby, this hotel is amazing. Not only that, the king bedroom is spacious, great amenities with a spacious bathroom, a snooz white noise machine, and even an option to rent two monitors, a keyboard / mouse via Outpost. Truly an amazing experience as a business traveler. The staff at front desk were so helpful.

Nice staff. Located close to downtown activities. Loud traffic could be heard in room throughout the night ( think ambulance, motorcycle etc.) I guess that’s being part of downtown maybe. The biggest disappointment was the horrible water pressure.

Great hotel and proximity to Daikin Park! Loved having the little coffee shop in the lobby. Only negative was the noise level from the lobby each night. We had a room facing the interior lobby and the noise was tough to fall asleep to until past 1am. They did give a noise machine to help but some people’s voices just carry more than others. Not the end of the world but just poor planning on the design overall I feel.
