“Do not use the postcode alone as it takes you further up the road to the wrong property. Only stayed for 2 nights while we did the big hike marathon but the property was very nice, it could do with a little TLC for minor things on the decor but nothing that really bothered us. Very close to Bakewell & a lovely pub over the road with nice food & service. Bit tight on parking but we managed to get on no problem. All in all a lovely stay & would like to return again.”

“This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. “On our arrival we were met by the delightful owner who made us feel very welcome. She was also a source of information which proved extremely beneficial.
