“Acceptable accommodation for a short break and good location from which to explore North Norfolk. Banged my head on low hanging ceiling lights a dozen times in two days, fortunately no damage done. There is definitely room for improvement but wouldn’t want to complain too much as I think hosts are trying to make the best of a less than perfect situation.”

“Excellent place to stay to discover Norfolk, not far from the coast and all amenities. Good sized rooms well maintained and wide choice for breakfast. Great talking to the owners. We had a lovely relaxing time and would thoroughly recommend. When we come back to Norfolk this will be our first choice.”

“The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!”

“Fantastic location, staff were really helpful but the room was dated, mattress was smaller than the bed and the bathroom was tiny, breakfast was okay but I would not stay there again”

“When we walked into the room, we were shocked to see how small and dated it was. Believe me it was hard for two people to walk around, also the bathroom sink was in the bedroom which was so tiny and every time you washed your hands the water just went down on the floor. This guest house is no way 4star, it’s a deliberate miss representation. Please think before you book.”
