The hotel is nice. It’s in a great location and it’s more quiet than other areas of Waikiki. Beautiful views and the staff were especially welcoming and nice. I’d definitely plan on staying again.

Great pool, close to the kids beach with the sea wall to break waves, and terrific concierge to help plan activities. Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly. Great value. Will stay here again. Close to restaurants and abc stores where you can buy anything you forgot to bring.

The rooms were very clean with fresh towels every day. The hotel is in a great location, close to many shops, restaurants, and the beach. The breakfast was quite basic and a little disappointing. A big minus was the valet-only parking, which costs around $60 per day and is little expensive.

Good: the views regardless of the room you pay, you’ll still see a good shot of the ocean. The view of Diamondhead from the 3rd floor Pool/Bar area is amazing. Needs work: the rooms are a little dated, the pool is on the smaller side and there is no hot tub. Valet parking was nice but very limited. Overall a 3.5.

Location close to local activities. Rooms very neat and clean..decor on mid century Hawaii style. Charming. It was a very nice stay. Breezy balcony , Noisy from Kapahulu side from street. To be expected on main street. Over all very nice for a staycation.

Rooms were clean, but very dated furniture. Shops in were constantly closed prior to posted closing time. Restaurant (the Deck) poolside had decent service. However, they didn’t serve poolside, you were required to go and order at the bar and wait. Thankfully, there’s plenty of restaurants And ABC stores within walking distance to accommodate snacks and food requirements. The pool area was decent with nice loungers. If you’re looking for luxury, not your cup of tea. If you plan to be at Waikīkī beach most of the day and outdoors. This could be a good option for a reasonable price. Note. They are located at the end of main Waikīkī.

Good location in Waikiki beach. Super nice staff as it seems everyone is in Hawaii. It was nice to see so many dogs and babies. Hotel can use some updating. Especially the rugs, and bathrooms have no ventilation and rooms have no closet. If you dine at the restaurant- the short ribs are pretty good. The fish tacos are super bland and dry and the wedge salad was dripping in dressing. Salmon was almost raw.

A classic old school hotel, the Queen Kapiolani boasts a stunning unobstructed view of Diamond Head and a restaurant/bar with delicious food and tasty cocktails. Although a little older, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The only downside was the street noise. We were on the 19th floor and could easily hear the traffic from the street, if we were on the balcony, we could hear conversations from other balconies/the pool. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and respectful. Would definitely stay again!

Everything about Queen Kapiolani Hotel was enjoyable, starting with the staff, who was very professional and friendly. The beachfront view was amazing, and if you didn’t want to drive or take other transportation, you were in walking distance of so many different things! I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
