Cabañas en Honeydew

“Sure, it has curb appeal. The front lobby has beautiful woodwork, as does the restaurant and staircase. The rooms appear to be period correct and the beds are comfy. But that charm and nostalgia quickly wear off when you discover there is no air conditioning. The windows only open 8 inches, limiting the amount of cool night air that can enter. There were no insect screens on the windows. There was only one dusty pedestal fan for the two bedrooms, so we had to request a second. You go to...

“The major issue in staying here was the road taken to the coast to reach the hotel. It is a terrible, winding road. To make matters worse you need to take the same road when you leave. There is nothing the hotel can do about the road but it certainly is a negative. The choice of restaurants is limited to about 2.”
