The property was well located for a night's stay before catching the ferry to Belfast early morning. However, the room was not that clean. The furniture was sticky. The carpet did not appear to have been hoovered, there was a teaspoon lying on the floor. Although the owners explained they would not greet us personally because of COVID safey, this is well beyond the restrictions timetable and it would have been preferable to have a better service. The parking up the side of the house was not useable as we would have blocked in others. We felt it was safer to park on the road opposite so that we would not get blocked in and miss the ferry. This meant lugging our cases further than we would have liked. Also, there are steps to negotiate to get into this property. We were right up on the top floor. Not the owners fault but something to bear in mind. The general feel of the room was that it was 'tired'. The bedding was not at all crisp and well used. I really believe for the £68 pounds we paid, this was substandard and overpriced. We did not see anyone else and were in no position to articulate the issues in person as the owner was not seeing guests. There was no point in leaving this review on the slip provided as it would not have been rectifiable in the timescale as we only stayed the one night. Would not stay again.

Good Comfortable B&B. Nice location, convenient for town centre, port and harbour front. Useful charger for electric vehicles.

A great little hotel

This was a trip made through necessity as I had to get to Ireland on an early ferry, so was a last minute booking. The property was easy to find. It is an old building but the inside has been made very comfortable. The bathroom was shared between the 5 or 6 bedrooms, it was spotless with plenty of shampoos etc. My room(4) was a tiny single room, but it had everything I needed, the bed being very comfy. Plenty of tea and coffee etc and there was more downstairs shpuld i have needed it. Breakfast was self service and everything was in individual packs as much as possible to help with the Covid situation. There was also a microwave to reheat any food not at breakfast time. I didnt meet the owner Claire due to Covid distancing, however we kept in contact through text and I was very satisfied with that. I chose this over the standard travelodge type hotels found at ports, because I wanted somewhere with a bit of character. Definitely worth a visit.

Rude service

The reception gave me a smaller room than what i paid for and the room was very small and the sink didnt work. The lady serving breakfast was not friendly and asked us to leave before we had finished our breakfast. That was very rude.

Clean but disappointing

When we reserved a B&B, we naturally thought it included breakfast -- it did, for an extra charge. It's not that it was an outrageous charge but it was the principal of being charged anything while still advertising as a B&B. We were not prepared for the size of the bed being so small and the shower was a disappointment also. We never met the host and was surprised that there wasn't parking on the premises.

expected a family room and ended up in a small double room at top of house and if I had been told this I would have told them that my husband was disabled and found it very hard to climb that amount of stairs

Needed a place to stay in Holyhead last minute on a low budget, and the room I found here was ideal. Great B&B. Friendly, welcoming, and clean.

Nice room with cute view of Holyhead mountain. Hosts very amenable to bike storage, leaving instructions and key for safe and secure storage. Did't realise breakfast is extra, kinda B and not B. Close to walk into the town (although beware! Holyhead closes at 10pm!)

We were happy with landlord and staff and around the area but we had bad experiemce with expedia as when we came here the landlord didnt see that we booked it and then when we called expedia to confirm they have said call back in half an hour as system drop down...so they didnt care if we will stay outside the landlord was helpfull and let us stay there then she booked us different room as which one we booked was full as she didnt knew and it was 15pound cheaper and expedia suposse to pay us back 15pound but they add it so we recieved email that we paid 15 more.We were dissapointed never book in on expedia again!!

Property is basic but clean and everything you need and would expect for the price. Very close to the water. The Manager was very helpful and a basic breakfast can be bout for 5 pounds

We hadnt ecpected for there to be no staff available at all. The room was comfortable and we were happy to have a cold breakfast but what was provided was of a very poor standard. There was only poor quality white bread, the only fruit was a tired looking apple and oranges and the coffee was dreadful. Also there was no recycling on the property and overuse use of plastic. Potentially this could be great as it was clean comfortable and a lovely locstion.

We are 2 persons booking a family room with the same price. the room with everything, hair dyer, tv, coffe and tea, kettle. very comfortable room you just feel like staying in yours Very clear information and easy check in even there is no reception. nice area, just 2 mins walk to the seaside with perfect view if i need to pick 1 thing for improvement, i would like to say i can listen people talking in next door and when they open/close the door, it is quite easy to hear
