Spacious, clean room, kudos to the housekeeping team. Breakfast and dinner also excellent with good variety with lovely, helpful staff. Location is great and you can pretty much walk to main attractions.
However, requested breakfast upon check-in and thought they'd charged us then and there so we could get the 10% discount but turned out they didn’t and ran after us, banging and shouting at the car, which made us feel very uncomfortable as felt like we were treated like criminals when they were the one who forgot to charge us in the first place and inconvenienced the driver. This is also after they asked us to wait at reception for 5 minutes while checking the room to make sure we weren't lying when we said we hadn't had anything off the minibar, definitely not standard practice since we didn’t have that in the other hotel in Vietnam. Resulting in horrendous check out experience that tainted an otherwise great stay. Hence, deducting 2 stars due to the front office staff.
