Beautiful clean place, very unique architecture inside/outside, cozy room, relaxing, great common area/breakfast area, they cook breakfast just for you! Sweet people. Would suggest more lighting on second story upper step to deck patio.

It was very pet friendly, everybody there was very nice. We ended up checking in early and they were very friendly about it. The room was very homie. It had a full kitchen stove, fridge, and of course, the sink a nice area outside to where you can sit around a fire pit overall would stay there again

It was a peaceful location, I felt like I had all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable better than any high end hotel I’ve been to. I actually felt like I could live there it was great! The breakfast was delicious also

If I could give Brook Trout Inn ten stars I would. Julie, her husband Steve, and their right hand woman, Holly, were welcolming, friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless, the breakfast eggs were cooked to order with almost everything else you could ask for to start the day. Run, don't walk to this Inn the next time you are in the area and need somewhere to stay. Who needs a chain hotel when you can stay with what feels like family❤️? Also, we brought our 17'9" boat and parking was no problem on the property.

Stayed here for one night after hiking Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls trail. Great location close to Cashiers where we saw 4th of July fireworks. Room was comfy and clean! Excellent air conditioning! They cooked made to order eggs and bacon and had assorted muffins, bagels, breads, and fruit. Chatted with the owner Julie at breakfast-super friendly! Don’t hesitate to stay here!

The Brook Trout Inn is a real gem. It has been locally owned for the last ten years. The owner and staff are wonderful people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location makes local towns like Highlands, Cashiers, and Brevard accessible with relatively short drives. There is lots of hiking and waterfalls in the local area. A great place to stay.

Loved our stay here! Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Holly was so kind, breakfast included in our stay, coffee, etc. was a plus. The Inn is very well maintained and the gardens, trees and flowers really made our stay even more inviting. Recommendations to local restaurants were great as well. Location is great for exploring waterfalls, hiking, fishing, or just resting. Thank you for our wonderful stay. Hope to come back again.

It was fine. As a single woman traveling, I would not recommend. It felt a little remote. There is no one at the front desk after a certain hour and the rooms are detached from the main building. There was thankfully a delicious Italian restaurant next door which was not serving, but I was able to get take out as I arrived after 830pm. It was also a bit noisy as their were groups of people up late in the common area and then coming into the rooms (with thin walls). Otherwise, the room was clean and quaint. Well appointed. Nice linens and soap. There was a nice breakfast selection but the people who had been up the night before left their drinks and things out on the table.
