The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious, as well as being very quite. The breakfast was amazing, we ate there for dinner on our first night which was lovely and good value. The Lamb Inn is conveniently situated for walking and sightseeing.

Valentines weekend

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Lamb Inn. The owner and staff were so pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything you required for your stay. The food was superb. We cant wait to return.

This is a great pub with just 3 rooms and I would recommend to book one if you have the opportunity. The pub locals were very friendly, the food (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the landlady. My wife and I had a great two night stay.

Absolutely amazing stay. Staff were amazing and room was more like a cottage. All amenities attended for during stay. Food was sensational, fresh, tasty and the breakfast was simply wow. Definitely be returning!

Autumnal short stay

This is the second time we've stayed at the Lamb Inn and of both occasions we've been very happy with staff's friendliness and accommodation. The welcoming atmosphere in the Inn with the roaring log fire and excellent evening meal and breakfast make for an enjoyable stay. The room is comfortable with all the facilities one requires in an excellent setting within the Peak District.

Our 3 day break at the Lamb Inn was very enjoyable. The room was decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. Breakfast's hot foods were cooked to perfection and the evening meals hearty and beautifully cooked as well. Overall, we were very impressed and would certainly consider coming back again in the future.

Don't miss this spot!

We couldn't have been happier with this stay. The inn is everything you want when you book a quaint English country inn. Absolutely every person their was charming and friendly and particularly the owners; a lovely couple. The bed was SO comfy. It's clearly a fav with locals so book those dinner reservations early, it fills up and for a good reason. The food was delicious! We definitely will return!

Lovely traditional, intimate Inn

Stayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. I'm sure the chef would have come up with something suitable but we wanted to explore other eating options locally anyway. Breakfast was plentiful and the bar and serving staff were all welcoming and attentive.

Very welcoming and comfortable (again)!

This is our 3rd stay during the Christmas break as there are some great walks close by. The food is superb and service is fabulous. Not a big choice for vegetarian diets. The room was again spotless with good amenities although felt in need of a little TLC this time. All in all we would definitely recommend staying.

Beautiful room!

Beautiful room, very comfy king size bed and very friendly staff. Stayed in Room 1 and the only 3 negatives were that the bathroom floor was freezing cold, shower gel was empty in the shower and no dressing table (not sure where one could be fitted in though but they had placed a small mirror on the windowsill so guess that was a makeshift dressing table). Food was top quality both for evening meal and breakfast. Next to quite a busy road but we did have any road noise and had a great nights sleep. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely comfortable accommodation. Ideally located. The food available was amazing and the breakfast catered for all. The fact that there arent too many rooms here meant that the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Thank you to all involved.
