Super apartment in a convenient location. Spacious enough to be comfortable for three adults for a full week. Bedrooms good sized. Living room comfortable. Kitchen renovated and excellent, including an air fryer!
A few smallish mechanical issues (clothes dryer broke early in our stay, thermostat in foyer appeared functional, but did not work and prevented us from having heat the night of arrival, a requirement to manually “level up” the pressure in the boiler to obtain heat).
Overall very clean and well-kept, but appeared cleaner had not finished (clean wet towels in washing machine, dirty dishes/silverware in dishwasher, debris on floor in living room).
Centrally located in Helensburg. Could be a tad busy and loud on the street outside, but being able to walk to almost anything in town was more than a good trade off. Parking was usually available right out front.
We never met our “host,” Matthew, but he was fairly responsive and helpful. An odd mention of a “registration requirement” on Hotels.com turned out to be a mistake and gaining access late in the evening upon arrival was a breeze. Matthew fixed a loose toilet seat almost instantly after we messaged asking about it. We were disappointed not to have a clothes dryer, but a day or two after telling Matthew it wasnt working, he sent over a very good electrical clothes horse drying rack.
Would definitely return to this excellent apartment.
