“We stayed at the Karoo Art Hotel for one night on our way to Cape Town. It is a wonderfully restored hotel in keeping with its character. The bed was very comfortable and our room spacious. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very good, we would definitely return if ever in South Africa. It was nice to safely be able to walk around the town.”

Lo contraté, llamé al lugar para avisar que iba a llegar más tarde del horario de check in, el lugar estaba completo, el sr del hotel me terminó bloqueando el celular, hoteles no me reacomodó en otro establecimiento y aún no tengo respuesta sobre el dinero que pagué. Esto sucedió hace 3/4 días.”

“Sehr altes Gästehaus hat aber seinen Charm! Gepflegt und Sauber mit netter älterer Gastgeberin. Küche (Kühlschrank) und Wohnzimmer wurden geteilt Pool sehr sehr klein leider zum Zeitpunkt nicht sauber… Ruhig, Sicherer Parkplatz mit Automatiktor. Genau neben der Kirche war aber nicht störend! Restaurants und Supermarkt in der Nähe! Sehr guter Italiener die Straße runter… für 1 Nacht Ok”

“Lovely place, wonderful staff and gorgeous rooms in a very walkable and charming part of Swellendam. Bonus points for great running routes on the nearby mountain. Breakfast was extraordinary and in itself worth the trip. Would love to come back. ”

“We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! ”

“The room was nicely decorated, clean and charcoal was provided for the braai. Amenities, including the tea pot, were good with considerate extras included. The berry store downstairs provided a nice place to taste and purchase farm made jams, relishes and liquers.”

“Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr saubere Zimmer sehr gutes Frühstück. Innenhof ist wunderschön zum Entspannen. Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage direkt an einer Spazierroute zum erkunden der Altstadt. Nur 1 km entfernt beginnt der nahe gelegene Nationalpark mit Wasserfall.”
