“A very enjoyable stay at The Fourth Lock. It was a great location for exploring the area and has a really good restaurant on site. We were made very welcome and Jay could not have been more helpful. There are only 3 rooms, ours had access to a balcony with a view of the lake. Breakfast is provided as self-serve with a good selection of cereal bars, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices and best of all, home made muffins :-) Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the shared cosy lounge, which...

“Okay room for just a one night stop over. Easy snd fast check in. Parking could be a problem if the property was full. Must watch your step leaving the room (ground floor) as there is a step up at the door - easy to trip. Could use a refresh, just ok for short stsy.”

“A full, one-bedroom apartment with a little deck. It was well-equipped, very clean and comfortable. We stayed just two nights but it would be a great choice for longer stays. It is just over the MacDonald bridge and a convenient and good-value alternative to staying in downtown Halifax. Parking was included. It is located in a nice residential area and one block away is a good view of the Halifax skyline. I would definitely stay again.”
