“It’s always a joy to stay at The Queens. It’s comfortable, clean, has the most excellent and generous menu, but it’s their team that are the real gems in their crown.”

“Spa facilities poorly maintained wood splitting in sauna, no steam room very small pool and small dirty changing facilities. Inadequate gym facilities literally 1 treadmill Old dirty carpet and room smelled old. Tv was inadequate old 1st generation TV. Terrible WiFi signal Reception staff friendly but catering staff not. No food available after 9.30pm no amenities or facilities around to overcome this. Would not recommend staying unless just going to specifically play golf”

“Great place to visit. Will be back. Thanks to Loulou and her team !”

“best hotel in the area, very well maintained and newly renovated. will come again! food was lovely”

“Really friendly cosy old pub. The breakfast was amazing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Can’t fault it”

“nada de lujos, pero muy acogedor , céntrico, y limpio y sobre todo un personal escelente. te orienta sobre monumentos y lugares de comida y tapeo”

“Our room was outstanding, the staff were amazing. Only issue we had was we couldn’t work out the egg machine at breakfast but again staff were super helpful”

“Perfecto como siempre ! Muy buena gente y muy amable. El desayuno inglés estaba fenomenal. ”

“Staff on check in were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Carried our suitcases upstairs which was much appreciated and provided iron and ironing board within minutes. Room 14 is a safety hazard! Tiny step in to the bathroom which is really easy to miss and I actually had a bad fall when staying. There's also a step down in to the bedroom part of the room, so be really careful if you stay in this room. Someone had pre set an alarm on the TV to 5:45am so if you stay here, make sure to check...

“We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“Lovely historic inn at the top of a lovely historic town! Breakfast and accomodation were great, highly recommend! Great value for money... parking is tricky if you need it, but not impossible.”

“A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again.”

“Una vergüenza de establecimiento y servicios (inexistentes). Un hotel (por llamarle algo) sucio, mal oliente, antiguo... Una vergüenza. Además de todo lo antes citado, y sirva de ejemplo, no me hicieron ni la cama.”

“We stayed here for two nights. A beautiful home with nice, clean, well kept rooms, garden and common room, in a beautiful part of England and surrounded by nature. It was trully a lovely experience. Both Sally and Michael were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcomed, letting us know things to do around and onwards on our trip, and very attentive. The breakfast was amazing too. If I come back to rural England, I'll be sure to come back here too!”

“El bed and breackfast es muy lindo, todo muy limpio y modernizado, pero TODOS los bed and breackfast que me he quedado en mi vida incluyen breackfast, el mismo nombre lo dice, por lo general esa es la magia del bed and breackfast y este NO INCLUYE DESAYUNO, por lo cual me parece engañoso llamarlo asi”

“Wonderful friendly and attentive staff . Parking easy , excellent food and very comfortable bedroom . Would definitely visit again.”
