“Off the main road which was good. We thought it was a nice, pleasant place to stay within a short drive of Chester. I would recommend this place to friends visiting the area. We were just a couple that stayed for a week whilst building work was completed on our house and found it competitively priced so if you are a group of 4 then it would represent even better value. “NO WORKING WINDOWS The photos of the apartments are all mixed up so its not possible to see the actual apartment you will be allocated. The apartment I was allocated had no widow in the bathroom and the air vent did not work. Next to the bathroom is the bedroom which also had no window. There was one window in the living room/kitchen that was painted shut. It was clear that the apartment had not been aired out for a long long time. It was incredibly stuffy and did not smell fresh. “Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. ”
