The were professional, friendly, and helpful. I found the location to be very convenient and the atmosphere quiet. There, unfortunately, in my opinion are several challenges: the interior and exterior of the inn are in need of updating, I found the hallway and my room to be dark and dingy, the ceiling of my room was covered with water stains, and most disappointing was finding roaches as uninvited guests in my room. I would probably opt out of staying at the inn again unless the updating has occurred and can be confirmed. It was not representative of a Hilton property.

First floor was pretty clean and smelled good, second floor I’m guessing is the smoking rooms. Yuck. Refrigerator broken, light not working above the sink and mirror, no iron in the room. Bed was comfortable. About what you expect for the price of the room. Pool was okay.

Staff was kind and helpful. Air con was great. Shower felt a little unclean. We got 2 towels per room. Definitely needed a couple more if we were going swimming. No tissue in the tissue box and no covering on the lights over sink. We didn’t say no smoking room but did find the housekeeping cart with air deodorant spray. That made it a lot better. Very limited on creamer for morning coffee. Pool was nice and kept up.

He room was clean and very comfortable. The only negative was the fact that there was no hair dryer in the room. I had to ask at the front desk for one which they provided. I would recommend this hotel if you are making the trip to New Orleans.

The young man at the front desk was very nice and checking was fast and easy. The front lobby was neat and clean. The grounds very manicured. Rooms smelled good but bathroom could have used a wipe down but other than that it was clean. The breakfast was nicer than I expected. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was in bad shape. Wall paper peeling off the walls, our smoke detector was completely gone. The room had a stench. No microwave and the iron was not useable. The breakfast literally was bread, bagel, and packaged muffin. That was all. The beds were clean and pretty comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly.

For whatever reason there was someone stomping around in a room above ours, intermittently, ALL NIGHT for one of the nights during our three-night stay. It was annoying. Some of the upholstered furniture in the room had stains and the bathroom door could not be opened all the way, bc it interfered with the toilet. We didn't complain because we didn't pay a lot for the room and it was pretty clean. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part.

This property has undergone a change of identity but it needs more than just a name change and small spruce up to try to get back to being a better option for visitors to the area. There are several other options, any of which is going to be better for most visitors. Unless you are trying to cut your costs, would recommend looking towards the other options instead. Staff was nice and explained a few of the quirks (like giving customers the TV remote when they check-in as they have had too many stolen by past customers apparently). Interestingly, this was the only property that seemed to have that issue among the several properties we stayed at during our week plus long trip.
