“A lovely traditional pub within striking distance of many beautiful places. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action. “The room was nice and big. The staff were friendly. The location was great, near lots of pubs and restaurants. The pub is good too, with friendly people. Not necessarily suited for young children on friday night as the area is loud until 0030, although it did quieten down once bars were shut. The shower water pressure in the evening seemed a lot lower than the morning.”
