The staff was AMAZING. Every person we met from the housekeeping staff, the man who checked us in, and the restaurant staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The property was clean and very charming. The ONLY slight inconvenience was the lack of air conditioning - but we were there in May so it wasn’t too hot. We just went to the store and purchased a little fan and put it in front of the open window: Highly recommend! We were there for a wedding and the location was central to all wedding activities.

I was in town for a wedding & we couldn’t have picked a better place. The cutest area with tons of history & the nicest owners you could ever meet. They were so kind & helpful. the room was exceptionally clean & was tucked above the tavern. I wish we got to try their restaurant but we will definitely be back!

This is a very charming inn with tons of character. The accommodations were great, but what set this place apart from others is the people. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. From the innkeepers/owners (Thank you Dan!) to the restaurant crew, everybody made you feel welcome. And by the way, the food was top notch.

More like a B&B than a hotel, only 5 rooms. Owner Patrick met us at the door, expecting our arrival and was quick to help with bags or with a restaurant recommendation. Stayed in room #1 which was huge, with a very comfortable king size bed. Place is old (1774) so floors are uneven, staircase steep and narrow but bathroom while dated is sufficient and shower is strong with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely 18th Century farm house with Inn and very popular restaurant on the 1st level. Close to shopping in Harwich and Chatham. Room was clean and spacious and the Inn Keepers are very accommodating and friendly to their guests.

It was a very enjoyable stay at a very nice Inn. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful to us setting up our plan to see the area. I found that since our room was above the kitchen and backed up to a storage or office space it was a bit noisy. I would stay there again.

Nice quiet area and friendly owners. We were in room 5. The rooms are on the second floor of the tavern. A spacious room , queen bed. Dinner in the tavern was excellent. The room was very clean and plenty of parking. The shower is a little tight and I did hear some noise from the tavern because we were next to a stairwell above the bar area, but the air conditioner muffled most of it.

This is the second time we have stayed at Mooncussers. And my wife and I were not disappointed again! This Inn and restaurant dates back to 1773! It is just charming and the the food at their restarant is just out of this world! We come every couple years to Cape Cod to visit my aunt is East Harwich. I will always make it a point to stay here. Patrick, Annie and Damien do sunch a fantastic job and we could rate this place any higher. Just remember, we are talking abount a building that was built in 1773! There will alway be a few quirky think that pop up, but this is so much cooler than staying at one of the overpriced inns in Chatam. Their rates are very affordable for being on the Cape. Give them a shot if you want a very special and unique experience!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Mooncussers‘s Tavern. The fact that it was built in the 1700s was really of interest to us. The food in the restaurant was great submit. Would’ve been great if they served breakfast also but will definitely be back.

Check in was simple and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable . Housekeeping is available when you need a little something extra. Its has a nice big, clean bathroom. A lovely lodge with excellent dining room and tavern. This is exactly what we were looking for, versus the standard small motel room or sterile Airbnb. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Patrick becomes an immediate friend and quickly attends to all details of the lodge. Annie runs an exceptional dining room / tavern.
