The location was perfect for exploring Banff and the area. The chalets are basic and rather rustic - as long as you book with that expectation in mind, it should be a perfectly functional accommodation for a few nights.

Very clean, very friendly staff, surprisingly quiet inside given the proximity to the highway. Definitely rustic in a time capsule kind of way. If you want a modern hotel go on into Banff and pay the extra few hundred dollars but this feels like good value.

Had a fantastic stay at Rundle Chalets! We booked a 2-bedroom chalet and it was clean, cozy, and very well-maintained. Having effective heaters in the room kept everything warm and comfortable. One of the best highlights was having a bonfire right outside our chalet, which made the evening super enjoyable. Drive-up parking right at the doorstep was extremely convenient. The location is ideal—close to both Canmore and Banff without being overly far from anything. Exceptional value for the price. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Love the convenience of the location by the gates of the national park. The cabin was clean and cozy. The little kitchen does allow you to make simple meals. You are very near the highway so it isn't the quietest of locations. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The staff were very friendly, hospitable, and considerate throughout our stay. The cabin furniture is a little outdated, but everything was clean and in good working order. We especially appreciated Henry taking the time to personally approach us, thank us for our business, and wish us a good trip. That thoughtful gesture really stood out and made us feel welcomed and appreciated.

The hotel was a great place to stay while I visited the sites of the area. I found the room very comfortable to return to after a day of physical activity. Even though the room and amenities were a bit small for my stature, I found that opening the windows gave me the most restful sleep I've had in some time. I will be returning.

I normally would never stay in a cabin, but this was a lovely experience. The community is quiet and the inside accommodations were lovely. The washroom was older but exceptionally clean. The small kitchen with a large fridge was lovely. My favourite part was the bed. This was a fantastic mattress, very clean sheet and a wonderful weight of a duvet. I’d stay here again just for the bed.

At first felt a little shabby but we ended up loving it. A rustic cottage cabin set between two mountain ranges. Great location near Banff. Comparatively inexpensive to all other hotels. Tried staying extra nights but they were sold out.

Loved our stay here! The cabins are teeny tiny but in a perfect location if you’re wanting to experience Banff and Canmore. Would highly recommend if you want to save some $ on a hotel, as they are much pricier in the downtown areas.

I visited Banff for 2 days and delayed here for the duration. It is about 15 minutes away from Banff downtown, which is convenient. It is just 5 minutes from Canmore downtown, even better. The property is nice, it's clean and well laid out. The reception staff is polite & helpful. They assisted us with anything that we needed. The chalet is wonderful, it's cozy, clean, well equipped with a small but full kitchen. The bathroom, though small, is sufficient. The room has heating & cable TV. The property also makes a bonfire for you right outside the chalet, which is great extra. It is expensive (we went in peak summer season) but still much cheaper than the hotels in Banff. All in all, it was a good, comfortable stay.

We stayed in one of the chalets for 4 nights, and it was the perfect base for our trip. The chalets are a little rustic, but quiet and comfortable, and the staff are lovely and helpful. Being able to sit outside with a bonfire was also a real treat. Thank you for a great stay!
