“Very good value for money, everything you need is there including WiFi. Some small areas needing attention but nothing serious. Only downside was building works going on in an attached building, loud banging from 6am.”

“As soon as I walked into The George I was welcomed with friendly smiley staff who helped me check in and showed me to my room. They went through dinner times as well as breakfast. I didn't eat breakfast as I was too full up from the dinner the previous evening, the pie was beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding was yummy! My room was of a good size, clean and tidy and en-suite shower room was lovely. I will definitely be booking to stay at The George again when I next visit.”

“Budget price - budget room. Room was basic but very clean and beds were comfy. Tea and coffee available (& extra if needed). We literally just slept there so perfect. Parking on site was brilliant, plenty of space - 20 minutes walk into centre. Quiet despite being over a pub. Outside Iron staircase to the accommodation was a bit daunting with luggage though so something to be mindful of, but if you’re looking for cheap accommodation in a beautiful city then, it’s ideal.”
