“A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...

“best hotel in the area, very well maintained and newly renovated. will come again! food was lovely”

“The staff were super friendly and very helpful from start to finish. The room was fun and quirky and had everything we needed. Teas, coffee, water, prosecco etc. We stayed in the Love Nest and would highly recommend. Fantastic value for what you get. It had a huge bathtub, a log burning fire, a rooftop patio to relax on, and a huge bed. Recommend booking for dinner when you make your booking as it books up very fast. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic. They also do a 70p artic roll for...

“Friendly and helpful people. Smallish room with small shower. Decent pub food”

“It’s always a joy to stay at The Queens. It’s comfortable, clean, has the most excellent and generous menu, but it’s their team that are the real gems in their crown.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“Really liked staying in a 356 year old hotel/pub. It was probably my favorite place on our 1 month journey in the UK. It was close to town and had very friendly staff. It was unique and I really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely come back.”

“La habitacion muy caliente, limpia y todo lo necesario (galletas, cafe, te)”

“Nice older-style hotel with helpful friendly staff. Room a bit small and overlooked by house opposite but other facilities very good. Relaxing lounge, very pleasant garden area, very nice restaurant serving excellent breakfast and convenient parking.”

“The room was clean. The bathroom light didn't work and we were told we would have to use the communal bathroom instead. Couldn't open the window. Room had air vent from kitchen outside window.”

“Nice property in remote location, room was very well maintained and comfortable, only issue was road noise.”
