“El hotel es la típica casita inglesa muy acogedora, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero muy cucas, al parecer antiguamente creo que hace más de 20 años pero no estoy seguro se llamaba Shakespeare hotel y era conocido tanto en Bedford como en Londres. Debían de festejar bodas y cosas por el estilo. Bueno a lo que iba las chicas con las que coincidido a las tardes encantadoras y super amables siempre dispuestas a ayudar, pero luego está BAZ, Baz es camarero, recepcionista, cocinero en ocasiones, y...

“Friendly staff who couldn’t have been more attentive, even if they were in the middle of doing something, they’d stop to check you in or take your order. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and location is stunning.”

“What I didn’t appreciate was the cost of the hotel. I stayed in the same hotel a month or so before and it was half the price. I understand the cost was double because of an event in the area that I was not aware of. If that was known at the booking and I was told of it during the booking I would have gone elsewhere. Because we enjoyed our previous stay at hotel I didn’t notice the increase. Lesson learnt I guess.”

“Lovely homely pub and restaurant - and very popular when we visited! Lots of character, open fires and original features make it your ideal, traditional hostlery. Our room was lovely - again, characterful, roomy, and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean, bed was fine too. Included a small fridge so we could put a punnet of strawbs we'd purchased at a nearby farm shop to keep fresh. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the main area of the pub, sitting on a lovely bay window seat. ...
