Very disappointing – nowhere near the standard expected for €295 per night
I paid €295 for one night, and unfortunately the room was far below what I would expect at this price.
The room was very small, dated and worn, with visible marks and stains on the walls next to the bed. The bathroom was extremely basic, with exposed plumbing and a small shower with a curtain. I was also given a visibly dirty towel. The staff replaced it when I pointed it out, but a towel in that condition should obviously never have been placed in the room in the first place.
The hotel was advertised as having a gym, which was one of the facilities I expected when booking, but there was no gym available.
Breakfast was also very basic, with a limited selection and presentation more in line with a budget guesthouse than a hotel charging almost €300 per night.
I understand that prices can increase significantly during major events in Hannover, but even taking that into account, the condition of the room, cleanliness issues, missing advertised facilities and very basic breakfast made this extremely poor value for money.
At €295 per night, I expected a completely different standard. I would not stay here again.
