Very comfortable bed, free wifi, great in house restaurant and bar, as well as a number of dining options within a 5 min walk. Located in the heart of this beautiful village with plenty of activities nearby.

NB: we ended up at Edit just as a major storm warning was issued. The whole town was battered and power was out for 2.5 days. Edit has a backup generator, which powered the restaurant, shared spaces, heating etc. We were well catered for and staff put in extra hours to keep us comfortable. Roads were closed so fresh staff couldnt get in or out. Edit Hanmer went above and beyond during difficult times.

Hotel going through a few upgrades which is great to see. The restaurant Isobel for dinner was amazing! Great food. Breakfast wasn’t as varied, only option was continental. Would have like to have more options for TV/movies in the room. However, it a great location and staff were very friendly.
