I would most definitely stay here again. Had a room on the second floor and was able to watch the fireworks from the porch. One block from the beach and all the shops and band shell. And reasonable prices!!

This is our fourth stay at Mainsail. It is the only place we stay when we go to Hampton Beach. It is quiet, mostly families. Very nice, clean pool. The staff is fantastic. They have really nice little cabins for larger families to stay in. But best of all, they are perfectly located to be close to the action but far enough away where you don’t hear a lot of noise. Right across the street you can buy a delicious iced coffee at Flamingos coffee bar or you can get a cheap bear and awesome Mexican food at the Corner Cantina.

The room wasn't the cleanest, however, LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION! The location couldn't be better. The price was so reasonable to be so centrally located and close to the beach. We had 3 adults to the room and it didn't feel cramped. It's low frills, family friendly and a pool within steps. Everything else is in walking distance, I only got in my car once during our stay because we could walk to everything else. The AC worked great, the beds were comfortable enough and I would definitely come again. Staff was friendly and immediately provided extra towels and toilet paper when asked.

The place was surprisingly upgraded. Everything was clean and new. The only complaint was that the manager had her car parked in our spot and instead of moving it, she had our car parked at the other end of the facility. But other than that, everything was amazing and we would definitely go back.

Our room was surprisingly bright and airy, very comfortable and well laid out. The location is excellent, one block from the beach and restaurants and shopping. Although our interaction with the staff was minimal, if we had questions or a need they were very attentive. My great-grandson absolutely loved the pool, and didn't want to get out at all each day. Parking was a little wonky, but we worked it out in the end. It is our first-time staying at the Mainsail, and we will definitely be back for a longer stay next summer.

The room was updated and nice. Check-in and other interactions with staff were very good. The floor was dirty but this place is in a beach area, so if you don’t expect that, you’re not being realistic. We mentioned it to the person at the front desk and she immediately sent someone to clean it. Aside from that, we found it to be very clean. The location is on Ashworth Ave, which is a block from the beach but it was a very easy walk to the beach and the main strip, Ocean Blvd. it took maybe 5 minutes to hit the sand, and it was nice and close to the bathrooms on the beach, which is a bonus. I enjoyed my stay and would go back.

Pretty room, one bed was soft the other was really hard. No toilet paper holder, which was odd because we had to put the roll behind the toilet or on the side of the sink. The heated pool was wonderful and very clean.

The location of this motel was excellent and very walkable to the boardwalk and beach. The room looked newly updated and was clean. The pool was heated which was nice. The rates were very reasonable and about half the price of the place next door. It was a bit challenging to reach them by phone and took a few tries, but the staff was helpful once I got through. The staff also called and texted me to give me information about the room number, designated parking space and where the key would be if we arrived after 6:00 pm. The only downside was the 9:00 am checkout, which is early by mistake hotel/motel standards. I would stay here again.

The mainsail cottage was GREAT and certainly serves the main purposes as to why we went (close proximity to the beach, easy access, easy parking and private pool option for when we were done with the beach). The room was very clean, you could see housekeeping up and down consistently getting rooms ready throughout the day. The pool was extra clean as well. The owner or manager that seemed to be on duty every single day since Wednesday or Thursday was very accommodating and attentive. I think her name was Erica! I checked out early due to unrelated things with the cottage/my stay there and accidentally made a mistake with the keys. A gentlemen that also works there helped return them for me, so I didn’t have to drive back. Everyone there was amazing, even the guest were friendly snd respectful.
