We had a really nice stay here. The location was super convenient and check-in was very easy. The house itself is cute and had pretty much everything we needed. The beds were nicely made, there were plenty of towels, and each bedroom had its own A/C unit with a remote, which was great for controlling the temperature room by room. The kitchen was also well stocked with pots, pans, knives, cutlery, dishes, a full-size fridge, and a coffee maker.
The house is definitely a bit older, though, so there are a few quirks. The floors and doors creak quite a bit, the shower is pretty dated, and there were only 2 hangers in two of the three closets. It’s also right near the train tracks, so you can hear the train at night.
Overall, we had a really nice stay and it worked well for us since we spent most of our days at the beach or out exploring. Staff picked fresh tomatoes and shared them with us. It’s a cute, convenient home base in Hampton Bays, especially if you’re planning to be out and about most of the time.
