The resort was a perfect relaxing trip for my family. All the staff were friendly, very pleasant and helpful. We loved the beach, the water sports, and the Cathedral cave was a unique and very nice part of the resort. I recommend the All inclusive option. It was really convenient and included bus and ferry passes for the island. The beds were very comfortable too.

Beautiful grounds on a hill overlooking the bay. Close to the airport and close to scooter rental - which we used to explore the entire island. Staff was phenomenal, extremely friendly. Good food - we did breakfast and dinner plan - and good entertainment after dinner. We took advantage of a couples spa in the underground caves on the property, it was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

The resort was lovely. The food was good to excellent. All staff was wonderful. So helpful and friendly. I didn't know when I booked thru Expedia that this there was an option for all inclusive. We signed up for that at check-in. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, many alcoholic beverages AND bus and ferry passes were included. Would love to return there in the future

Our first trip to Bermuda & all was excellent! We stayed at the Grotto Bay Resort & did the all inclusive plan. It was so worth the expense as 3 delicious meals per day & all the drinks included (alcoholic as well). All the employees went above & beyond to make our stay exceptional! The wait staff was top notch, meals were gourmet & variety of drinks fantastic! The beach area is a bit small but still plenty of space to enjoy. The onsite cave with swimming was a real treat! Bus transportation was included in all inclusive as well as any non-motorized sports. The Berumdians were friendly & helpful, always greeted with a small. We enjoyed our stayed immensely & will return. A beautiful island to visit!!!! Highly recommend!!!

This was our second visit to Grotto Bay, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are always so impressed by the staff—they are warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed every meal. The only minor disappointment was that some guests didn’t clean up after themselves. We occasionally found empty bottles and cups left on the beach, which took away from the otherwise pristine setting. We had another wonderful stay and look forward to returning again.

Besides the hotel rooms, being old and not so clean everything else was great for the kids. The beach was great. We didn't use the pool as much. We did find a few dead bugs in the pool. There were many bugs in the room, including the whistling, frog and a we found cockroaches outside our room door. Our first night there they we entered our room, and there was only one towel in the room that sleeps 4 then we had a room moved because we were near a couple who had a infant and you can hear everything in the middle of the night, so we heard the infant crying all night sounded like the infant was in our room and we could not sleep so we asked to be moved we removed, but we were so far from everything we were in building number eight and as far as the bugs they're everywhere in the whistling frogs are very loud that you can't sleep. There are many chickens on the resort, so prepared to be woken up by roosters.

The Grotto Bay Resort was fine. I was expecting more for the price. We had an ocean front room. The view was great, the room was average. Had issues with both the in-room coffee service and the coffee available at the continental breakfast. The spa (in a cave!) was excellent. There is also a cave to swim in. If you didn’t want to spend big bucks for breakfast in the restaurant, the offerings at the continental breakfast were meager. All in all, I would rate the property as okay, not great.
