Nice central location

We were in Finland for a race in Lahti. Close enough for us to stay and the town was really cool, centered with a castle and a good military museum.

All the staff was friendly and accommodating towards anything and everything needed to be answer, everything was walking distance, even the train station as well, the room did tend to get hot during the day but they provide a fan for that as well. All in all the experience was great and I will come back for sure

As all the Scandic hotels, they are basic, but all you need is there. Bedlinnen/blankets static as usual. Great bar, locals always in for a chat. Breakfast is just fantastic, large choice and quality is of highest standard. People with coeliak or lactose intollerance, have a great choice of alternatives in the special corners of the breakfast room. All together een good place to stay and with friendly people.

Huoneessa oli paperi johon kirjoittaa palaute, muttei kynÀÀ. EikĂ€ myöskÀÀn infoa milloin mikĂ€kin auki: aamiainen, sauna, uima-allas. Pakolliset turvallusuusohjeet oli. Huone oli kyllĂ€ siisti. Henkilökunta oli vĂ€hĂ€n "eloton" keskustelemaan ja hymyĂ€ ei tippunut. Baarin puolella sama juttu: työntekijĂ€t heinĂ€seipĂ€itĂ€, jotka ei osanneet small talkia. Tuli aika nihkeĂ€ fiilis. Parkkipaikka oli outo. Kun ensin löyty, ei infoa miten ovi aukeaa. EikĂ€ tietysti tilaa. Toisesta parkista kuultiin vasta kun vietiin kĂ€rry korttelin pÀÀhĂ€n tienvarsiparkkiin. MissĂ€ parkkeeraus taisikin tulla halvemmaksi. Sijainti kĂ€velykadulla iso miinus - ulkopaikkakuntalaisen vaikea lĂ€hestyĂ€. Varsinkin kun se parkkikin oli sitten ties mistĂ€ suunnasta lĂ€hestyttĂ€vĂ€. Aamiainen ihan perus, ei moitittavaa. Aamuaistila kummallisen synkkĂ€ - tummaa puuta. VitsikĂ€stĂ€ oli sponssifirman turkoosit lonkerotyynyt yhtĂ€kkiĂ€ tummilla tuoleilla 😅
