“Bedroom comfortable, lift out of order”

“Very clean hotel with very helpful staff however the restaurant menu should be changed more we stayed 4days but due to the poor menu we only ate in the restaurant once, due to the location it is very difficult to eat in other places The facilities were excellent”

“The hotel is in a beautiful and restful setting. The staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant food was brilliant. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and other birds in the grounds.”

“Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “Food was great, staff very helpful, bar and dining room very tidy and clean, good range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft although I am out of touch with prices so had a bit of a shock. This is not a negative, just reality. Plenty of parking and convenient at the rear to avoid stairs. Some areas are in need of decorating such as stairwell and corridors however not terrible. Outside areas need tidying around the back of the building but the beer garden/smoking area was good. Wheel chair...

“We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in a beautiful location with stunning views. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The only downside was that our room was very hot. Although two fans were provided, it was still difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. Its elevated position offers fantastic views over the harbour and it's just a short walk from all the shops, bars, and restaurants, making it an ideal location. Although our room was quite small, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight – freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious, with an excellent selection of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, and yogurt available for guests to help...

“A gem of a place. Room was 100% and the breakfast kept me going all day. Location is 150 metres away from the main street. I now know where I am stopping next time I am in Paignton. Very highly recommended.”
